I wonder what it is about line-dried washing. The smell is difficult to define, but it would certainly head my list. I never tire of it. I am intrigued about the smell of a fired, cooling bisque kiln.
The smell of wood fires in the valley. The smell of bread baking in the oven. The smell of a hillside of narcissus in the spring. I could get use to this... That's what comes of living in the moment. It's a good place to be.
Laundry dried on a line has an indescribable fragrance - spring too - I can imagine the likn, but would add the smell of peat smoke. Who needs a camera? xx
The smell of fresh sheets on my bed, the smell of roast dinner on Sunday, the sound of birdsong in the woods, the feel of a blanket in front of the telly... I think what we are all feeling is comfort, familiarity, the things that make us personally feel secure.
i along with the fresh smell of clean laundry and oak burning in the wood stove, I LOVE the smell of the kiln when it goes into reduction. that's sort of weird, isn't it?
Hi, I've removed word verification...so if all goes well I'll leave it off..... Please leave a pebble in the pool ((o)) even if you don't want to comment, it is nice to see where you all come from! Thanks!
