moving week starts here...and it is wet, of course.
The Pirate is moving about six miles from here as the tied cottage is needed for a shepherd.
Then we'll be on our travels and I'll be officially there next year!
After so many moves, I have come to believe, it is very unlucky to not have rain or snow during a move. Maybe because it is such a rare occurrence, not to be precipitated upon while moving.
Hi Gwynneth, Thanks for the heads-up. Good luck all round to you both. A good move, I'd say. Having lived off and on for about 30 years in Welsh Marches region, I know the weather will not deter you! And as a Scot, I'd add that it sounds like a good move - but I would say that, I suppose!
