Sunday's ride
Today we went to Hikutaia , and went up the rail trail cycle path from Paeroa up to Hikutaia. We returned on the road...the rail trails are built for mountain bikes but there was a rut smooth enough for road tyres....still, I find that nerve wracking!! I'm not one for cyclo cross!! Total mileage 80km (50 miles) which with stops was about right.

but at least there were fresh lemons on the bush by our table
and at $3.30 I don't think that we'll be trying it again!!
