The track is "hot mix" tarmac, so is less affected by high temperatures. It is actually 450 metres long, less than 10 metres shorter than the track in Cardiff in Wales at Maindy Stadium...so it was like a home from home!! Even the wind on the back straight was just as hard!!
We'll be back there to train, weather permitting today and tomorrow.....cloudy with sunny intervals and hot, so far.
Now that's a proper track! Look smooth too :-)
