He is ok, had an epidural anaesthetic instead of a general....so spent 35 minutes talking cycling to the anaesthetist!!
I took in the requested grapes, coxes pippin apples and homemade carrot cake...and he was quickly handing cake round to the staff! Now I have to take the recipe in with me tomorrow!
He should be up tomorrow and escape is scheduled for Sunday or Monday....if he behaves!!
So, step one started, step two done, step three to come when they say he is ready....February, March, April? Who can say-only his body.
I left the hospital with my instructions....
1. make up the fire in the stove (done)
2. have supper (veggies on the bench ready)
3. ride my bike...it is sitting on the turbo trainer waiting for me!!
Looking forward to seeing him for an hour tomorrow afternoon.
