Aberystwyth again, and on to another 1000 miles trip...




Another brief visit,but it was good to see the boys...6 years old last Summer.
Daughter has,we think, a hairline bone fracture in one foot..so is hobbling around with crutches and a "Moon Boot". Hopefully we were of some use.

Over to England to see the Pirate's son and family before heading home in cold weather..-8 at 10 am!!.....but at home it was +8!!
We avoided motorways for half our journey....





A full day's travel,if only 320 miles that day, bringing the total to well over 1000.

By travelling this way we have seen much more and learnt many things that we'd have missed by dashing all the way up the motorway.

    We prefer driving the slow roads, not always the easier or the swiftest but certainly the much more pleasant x
