I certainly hope you had some foul weather gear on. That wind was howling at you to get in by the fire! What are those bright red berries? And what is the decoration around that chair about? Curious minds want to know.
The clootie bush or rag tree..a very old tradition,both Celtic and Romany interesting to see it carrying on. Usually near a well and/or hawthorn tree,the rags are tied and the hope is that as the rag degrades the sick person gets better or the wish is fulfilled. Unfortunately most of the "rags" here are plastic....
