Oh, I hadn't noticed that feature was gone. I used to enjoy it but stopped using it when it mostly led to dead blogs... I worry Blogger will one day shut down this whole platform, which would be devastating. I saw an article that predicted the return of blogging though... Who knows?
I heard they were discontinuing that feature. I used to use it now and then, but like Fresca I found that it mostly led to dead (or uninteresting or commercial) blogs. I find fellow blogger's sidebars much more reliable directories of potential reading material!
I think if Google ever decided to shut down Blogger (God forbid) we'd have some options for exporting our blogs or transferring them to another site, like Wordpress.
More and more I have to remind myself that everything has a lifespan, so many delightful, useful things have degraded and ended. I'll keep hanging on here, making sand castles, waiting for the tide.
Hi, I've removed word verification...so if all goes well I'll leave it off..... Please leave a pebble in the pool ((o)) even if you don't want to comment, it is nice to see where you all come from! Thanks!
It’s how I found your blog.

ReplyDeletego to your 'about me' scroll to the bottom, where is says 'Arts' 'potter''Scotland' - tap on one of them and it opens a WHOLE NEW WORLD!!!
I would hate to lose the blogs network, whatever it's called.
ReplyDeleteThis fellow ahead of me has been spammed. A link has been inserted. I just found this phenomena, and need to look into it.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't noticed it was gone either.
ReplyDeleteYes, blogging seems to be dying slowly as more slick methods appear. But you cannot beat the "spaciousness" of a blog.
ReplyDeleteI do miss many friends on my list these days, though.
I stopped using it cos all the blogs it forwarded me to were either Spam ones or hadn't been updated in years.
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks Kjsutcliffe-artist!
