Last Rose of Summer?

9 comments:

  1. thought I had seen the last of mine but found little buds all over my climbing rose yesterday - hope it stays mild long enough for them to bloom - also my poundland passion flower is still churning out big purple and green flowers at the rate of one a day - the advantage of being sheltered by a woodland I guess.

  2. One of our tomato plants that Judy had cut back nearly to the ground (or the soil in its pot) had been coming back to life. Then we had the first frost last night and, along with an iced over birdbath this morning, the tomato plant appears to have been nuked. So it goes.

  3. Lovely, our winter was so mild this year that we had roses flowering occasionally all winter.

  6. My pink roses are throwing up a few blooms, but the yellow ones are standing mute.
