To Newport..by the way we did the extra 15 miles last time by car, as it also included ending up at nearly 1000ft above sea level...starting at sea level!
While himself was going round in circles, I got in a nice twenty miles in the sun, on flat roads!! Something that I can't do near home. The hope is to get fit enough to tackle a few more hills when we do get home!!
The day ended with a meal out with pirate's eldest daughter and family, to celebrate pirate's grandson going to university..and also leaving home..for now, anyway!!
