During...the clouds were not much help, but the light noticeably dimmed, even with only a 25% eclipse
After...it was brighter than the image appears .
Apparently the further north you were, the more obvious it was..the best place being mid North Atlantic!!
We never noticed, though it was sunny!

ReplyDeleteI didn't even know it was happening until a kid came into the library and said he'd watched it with his class.
ReplyDeleteI love things like that. Once when my children were in school, there was a solar eclipse. I was shocked to find out that the school's plan was to keep them all inside and pull the blinds. I went to school and signed them out. We went to the nature center and sat in the dunes with a pinhole view. Still one of my favorite memories.
