This is a beautiful and very interesting walk. The river looks robust and likely produces a good amount of electricity. The riverside mills converted to homes makes excellent use of the buildings. Homes with a river view are usually highly sought after. Everybody benefits.
That's a lot of water (didn't you just have a bit of rain?) Loved seeing it, and your fellas...one you grew up with and one you've been with, how many years? I keep asking questions as if you might answer...silly me.
Barbs we have had damp or rainy days for weeks! The water flow was impressive. The river Ayr does rise up seriously at times..where it starts from, the hills are quite bare, so the run off is fast. Pirate and me have been together since May 2012 now!! Hard to believe that sometimes.
Susan the mills are no longer there..but a small water powered turbine from the runoff from the Voes is a good start. An example for others to follow
Hi, I've removed word verification...so if all goes well I'll leave it off..... Please leave a pebble in the pool ((o)) even if you don't want to comment, it is nice to see where you all come from! Thanks!
