Pirate had a roll around...and a chat with a coach who is retiring near the end of March. He is coming up to 65, has had a prostate scare, MRI checked and cancer clear...but has decided that life isn't just work! He is quite a good coach and can carry on with a few riders privately, while doing everything together that they want to, not waiting.
And coach took a photo of us as well.
Now Pirate is doing his best to keep infection free before his op... No crowds, no shopping, no club dinners, and postponing friends coming to stay this month.
His phone is doing extra work...and he wonders why the battery runs down quicker than he expects!!
What a beautiful couple: strong but flexible in the wind!
ReplyDeleteGood thing for phones when you have to isolate.
That is a lovely photo of you both. Good luck to you both and keep those germs at bay.
ReplyDelete...stay well so you can get well.
ReplyDeleteA dear friend of mine had to do the same - cutting himself off to protect his health before having surgery - he too resorted to his phone to keep in touch. Hope all goes well x
ReplyDeleteVery sensible of you both. You can catchy up later, and the phone will suffice for now.
ReplyDeleteLovely photograph, too.
Love the photo. It's a treasure!
ReplyDeletePirate has made the right choice. It's hard to isolate, especially when so many deny or don't care
I made the mistake of going to a family Christmas party mask free. Promptly came down with my first cold in seven years!
The AAARRRGGGHHH!!! factor is alive and well.
smartcat/suzi........(in case blogger is making me anonymous again)
I like the bottom photo of you both. It's excellent.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great photo of you all! Yes to everything others said, keep safe, germ-free, and recharge the phone as needed!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo of Pirate & you!
ReplyDeleteStay safe, warm & well.
What a great photo of the two of you! I'm glad Pirate got a turn around the track before his operation.
ReplyDeleteGood shot of you and Pirate. You both look happy.
ReplyDeleteWell hello. It’s nice to see you. I haven’t heard about the storm hitting you
ReplyDeleteI’ve been avoiding the news.
I hope you all stay safe.
Loved Glasgow when I visited last year.
Although it we very warm while I was there. I can imagine how cold it can get.
Great photos! Being cautious is wise; thank goodness for phones.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo of you and what one can see of Pirate. Hope all goes well on Monday for the pre-op tests.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, Pirate. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely pic of you both! full of character, determination and resilience!
ReplyDeleteI hope that conversation gives Pirate some hope that he will be the same as his cousin.
