I have subscribed to a Facebook group on fungi and see all kinds (on the group, I mean, rarely in real life). I don't know why but seeing fungi is a thrill to me, it's a little tiny world on the landscape of a rotting log, and the closer you look the more you see.

Fungi...it reminds me of my childhood game "red rover." Every time I turn my back it grows more.

ReplyDeleteAnd when you think that all we are seeing is the fruiting body...the real fungus is huge!!!
