Carrying on

Yesterday I gave a hand shifting beds and mattresses...this place will be full for the masters games!  Another afternoon nap before I rode over to our coach's home for a club spin session..

I just turned my legs over.. still tired..but the chatting before and after the session, and a cuppa and garlic bread after is all part of it!

Today has been showery all day.. hopefully getting the rain over before the games!!

I walked into town....got some ready cash and rewarded my 3 kg loss with a hot chocolate and a muffin...with yoghurt of course!

Then back "home" to dry off and do some drawing..

Before an early-ish night... listening to the rain dripping....

  1. I am going to get sketching daily (as best possible) for the month of February. I love doing the perpetual journal but it only requires producing a sketch a week and I am needing to do more - inspired by your pen sketches I am going to get to it!

  2. Mmmm, that hot chocolate looks good! I can't remember the last time I had a cup. I eat my chocolate in solid form these days, it seems.

  7. Sounds like you’ve had quite the active and rewarding few days! Moving beds, fitting in a spin session, and treating yourself to that hot chocolate and muffin after your weight loss is definitely well-earned. The rain seems to have added a peaceful touch to the day, perfect for winding down with a bit of drawing. Hope the weather clears up for the games, and you get some well-deserved rest!

  10. That snack looks excellent. I have taken to yogurt after deriding Judy's love of it all these many years.

  11. Your long walks and cycling are building good health and fitness. The weight loss is impressive. Being part of the cycling community and sharing a common interest is ideal. You have lots of connections in NZ.
