Monday...wet!

Not the downpours some have been receiving...but still back to cold wet and windy..such a disappointment after yesterday's weather.

Which was glorious!!... gardening started, greenhouse tidying, card printing...

But perhaps it is to stop us overdoing things!!

And there were clouds..

A weather front I should think
Above on the southeastern facing side..and below on the northwestern facing side.

And more...

Getting ready to sell this one..
First draft...not happy..
I need a heron with the attitude of the owl!
,a better format..to be worked on..

View from the turbo trainer

Made another loaf today...not a complete success, but not helped by the scales going blank halfway through weighing the ingredients!!

  1. Big difference in the sky from first to last photo. Scales go blank very suddenly. I always keep spare batteries which reminds me I must buy some.

  3. It's horrible and wet here also. They have had flooding in France. We always seem to pay after a spell of dry weather.

    1. Yes, flooding from Bordeaux eastwards, three rivers that combine....friend in France is in Haute Vienne..the Vienne is up but not too bad, and his village is high enough above the river not to worry

  4. Despite the cold and rain, you continue to accomplish a lot. The cards look lovely, and I love the new heron. Your garden is progressing nicely too.

  5. I'm so glad the weather was warm enough for you to start gardening! I think we are about to get some rain the rest of the week, so I definitely need to take advantage of the warm, sunny weather while we still have it. I hate it when the scales go blank right when you are in the middle of using it. It's so inconvenient and you just have to hope you get the rest of the ingredients right. Thanks so much for sharing!

  6. How do you get those overhead pictures of your garden? A drone perhaps? I hope you're not climbing trees or some structure!
