A literal line full of washing out on the line before breakfast....car down to the garage for MoT not long after 9am....the shepherds ready for ironing when I walked back up.the hill.
As usual, housework gets done right after breakfast...then I can relax!!
Today's work, done in short stretches ..was to cut the " heron " block...
And here it is...I'm not used to colour, but I think that it is ok
And the car passed its test .. relief!!

Oil based usually Hawthorn..I've got some Loxley which is reasonable. Not entirely impressed by Speedball.

The stamp pads come infused with ink. I wouldn't add any ink to them

ReplyDeleteI always wondered about the tools you use for carving blocks. Now I know. Inuit used soapstone for their blocks and still do.
