Today me and Bro have been sorting "electronic liquorice"....all the dead and outdated....but despite all that, a whole desk drawer, a basket, a box.... tidying stationery into said desk, sorting dead spare bulbs...you can hardly see the difference!!
Our friends from Troon called by on their way home from the club run...and for a warm and dry and a hot cuppa..they got rather wet this morning!! We'll be setting a time when they can return to help strip the components from the vintage frames as frames and parts will sell better separately.
And relief...the other potter in the collective has offered to do my duty in the gallery tomorrow!
Between May and June I have six duty days, most have five... perhaps someone thought more chance to learn!! So now I'm back to five.
Hopefully they will be able to sort the car as promised in the next few days!
To celebrate we took a walk to the shop...the rain had stopped and it was before the wind got up again...and we bought CAKE!!!!
and a cauliflower.... isn't it beautiful..
Do you ever think that cumulus clouds look like heavenly cauliflower?
ReplyDeleteYes
Delete"Electronic licorice" -- what a great descriptive term!
ReplyDeleteWell where's the picture of the CAKE? 😄
ReplyDeleteI have so many useless cords. But I keep them thinking I might need it one day
ReplyDeleteI know I won’t as they don’t fit the newer electronic gadgets.
But I just can’t do it.
Stupid really but there you go. That’s me lol
You can!!! If you know they don't fit....
DeleteIt is a beautiful cauliflower. And cords? I've threw away a bag of them. It didn't seem to matter, because now I have a drawer of them.
ReplyDeleteThey breed.....
DeleteIt's always a good day when CAKE is involved!!!
ReplyDeleteGood to get some things sorted and that you don't have to do Gallery duty tomorrow. That cauliflower looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteI have a bagful of electronic liquorice. Well, it might come in handy... maybe ...
ReplyDeleteAsk someone who knows about these things.....the drawer space comes in handy too 😄
DeleteCake and a cauliflower. That's a funny combination. :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a drawer full of that miscellaneous electronic paraphernalia too. It could probably all be thrown out, honestly.
I filled two large plastic bins, one with cords and electrical bits and one with plumbing bits. The two bins sit on a shelf in the garage.
ReplyDelete5 trips to the gallery seems better than 6. Hopefully your car repair is sooner rather than later.
Electronic licorice -- BRILLIANT!
ReplyDeleteI did think that was interesting cake!! and well done on the cycling - colour me very impressed.
ReplyDeleteThat is a splendid cauli, you just don't see them like that in the supermarket!!!
