This rose was sown here by a bird..
And I've added a couple of small troughs of geraniums..they should look good once established. I sorted through all the pots in the back garden and emptied a few redundant ones.. .
Yesterday was a slow start but things got done eventually.
Getting the old bits of inner tube working again!
And reviving the carpentry skills that dad taught me sixty years ago..and that youngest son refreshed with me twenty years or more ago!
There is a clay wedging bench in construction
Old cycle wheel rim tape.. who knows where Pirate put the G clamps?!Not the eventual top...but it is level and the legs stand straight.
The aerial peloton on their afternoon training flight..
And sunset at 10.15
I am impressed by your many and varied skills.
ReplyDeleteYou are a remarkable lady!
I need those carpentry skills! Hadn't thought of using old inner tubes in the garden - what a good idea.
ReplyDelete...stay busy.
ReplyDeleteImpressive clay wedging bench so far!
ReplyDeleteI like the repurposed inner tubes. I once made some rubber gate hinges from a pair of old Wellingtons.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great combo: skills and up cycling ideas.
ReplyDeleteI love those flocks of pigeons wheeling across the sky. I need to do some pot-sorting around here too.
ReplyDeleteIs there anything you won't tackle?
ReplyDeleteElectricity.... plumbing....did brickwork once...that was enough!
DeleteThe table looks great. In addition to all your other talents, you can build too.
ReplyDeleteOur sunset is closer to 5pm these days!!! Because we are closer to the equator, we never get the sun set later than between 6 and 7.
ReplyDeleteI commend you. And thinking how I'm asleep before the sun sets. At around 8:00!
