Today has been definitely an indoors day..rain started at 4am and the wind arrived by 7...most of the day had been dry, but 60mph gusts have been the order of the day, and winds not less than 30mph...and the sideways rain returned just before 10pm as the wind growled down the chimney!!
Sewing this morning...
And printing more cards in the afternoon
Followed by more sewing after supper..I finished half a patchwork corner and started sewing the two triangles together. One corner to go!!

Beautifully even handsewing. It sounds like a good day to devote to such endeavours.
ReplyDeleteStrong winds are horrible. It gives me earaches and headaches.
ReplyDeleteI just I’ve your Stamps. I think they’re wonderful
Just read about the Edinburgh Tattoo being cancelled. Must be rough.
ReplyDeleteStorms have got worse recently.
ReplyDeleteYou made good use of a nasty day.
ReplyDeleteI like your block print cards very much!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite the storm. Glad all your stuff is out of the wind.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a creative day. We had steady rain all morning, and pretty windy, and it DID feel like Autumn . . . Nearly there with the patchwork.
ReplyDeletewe got all the weather warnings and just a little breeze! I like your block print crow/raven.
ReplyDeleteIt is still a decidedly stiff breeze today!!
DeleteDefinitely an indoor day! Is your studio accessible in bad weather?
ReplyDeleteJust at the bottom of the garden...two minutes if that!!
DeleteYou filled your stormy day with lots of indoor work.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the storm is over now, and you have little or no damage outside.
It is crazy windy here too. Love the cards! See my note on my post re. the knives, if you want them. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't mind a bit of wind but not that strong, it's a bit scary
ReplyDeleteYeesh! But neither rain nor snow can stop you from your tasks!
ReplyDeleteSometimes a rainy day is just the bet -- gets lots of the inside stuff done!
