A spare day..as initially daughter was arriving today..so everything was geared to that!
Dawn was a little cloudy
But dry...so the wash went in before breakfast and out as soon as the sun shone!
It was still cold for a while as until mid-afternoon it looked like this at the front...
Not snow, just cold and frosty
But by mid-afternoon you wouldn't have known about it!
I had another session of patchworking this afternoon ...three of the four blocks done!
I can't just sit there....

Three of four blocks—that’s great! I am eager to see it
ReplyDeleteIt really is hard to just sit.
ReplyDeleteWe need to keep our hands and heads busy
It looks very cold. I hope the sun warmed you up a bit
Well, if it makes you feel any better, it was minus 24 for our high today.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! Although seeing a fly on the wall outside...I'm thinking that unless we have a good period of proper cold weather we'll have more bugs and flies around
DeleteAnd why should you?
ReplyDeleteI have not felt the least bit inclined to do any crafting since getting back from NZ. Just poleaxed still with this virus. I am hoping I will start to perk up again soon. Well done with your new blocks.
ReplyDeleteAt 17 degrees F, it is cold here too. The snow cover creates a white landscape. The sunshine provides lots of light and shadows on the snow. It is pretty but very cold.
ReplyDeleteI always get washing on the line if i know it's going to be a decent day, the ice on the grass will be crunchy under your feet, enjoy your time with your daughter.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr - just looking at it dropped the temperature in here by several degrees. (we are having a la nina summer - cool, wet, windy..) Just crack on with patchworking.
ReplyDelete((O))
