Recycling!! And Corvids

The heap that I'll be taking to the recycling company eventually

This is now mostly in the back of the car
And today's load cleared the grass

My back is complaining a little!!

The corvid news is that the jackdaws are back, it is pairing and nesting time for them and the crows.....

My landlord says that he'll get someone out in a couple of weeks ...by which time the birds will have moved in!!

  4. You are doing an amazing job sorting and clearing. I think my back would feel a little sore after all that work. You'll need a day or two with no heavy lifting.

  5. That is a serious amount of clearing out. What will you do with all the freed up space?

    1. It certainly is...have you found Nick Crawford on fb or IG ? He has been rescuing and caring for Corvids for 20+ years on Skye.
Corvids nest earlier than other birds...so that when their chicks need feeding there are eggs...and then chicks..of other birds around, as well as the usual bugs and carrion

  7. Well done! That is a lot of work, but won't it be great when it's all cleared out?
    The birds, though...what a headache.

Please leave a pebble in the pool ((o)) even if you don't want to comment, it is nice to see where you all come from!
