Yesterday was mostly sewing the lining...today was mostly not much.
It is cold and damp...if not wet... and breezy.
Politics in many places are disturbing, not just the obvious ones.
Landlord got someone to look at the jackdaw damage this morning...it should be done on Wednesday, weather permitting.
He'll check both corners...and he looked at the vent there and further along.
It looks like the mend will be done properly this time!
I've been "chatting" quite a bit today with friends on messenger and WhatsApp (sometimes both at the same time 😳!!)
And I've written two letters.
Tomorrow will be busy...tell the travel insurance about the trip (I have annual insurance with my bank account), research buses and trains, get a senior passes for both in France/ Europe....and then I can book to stay somewhere.
Posting letters, researching cotton batting for the quilt.... clear the bench space in the kitchen (again?!!) ...and if it isn't too cold out there, clean off my wheel in the workshop.
If it is too cold, think about designs for prints ...

I use the bamboo cotton batting. It’s lovely soft and not too thick making it easier to quilt.
ReplyDeleteI have French have a few conversions on messenger. I still marvel that I can talk to people all over the world and it’s totally free. Gotta love that
Sounds like some exciting plans are being made!
ReplyDeleteLovely, even, little stitches —they are a pleasure to see!
ReplyDelete...doing things properly the first time is always best.
ReplyDeleteAs one of those people, thank you. I enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteYou always get a lot accomplished.
ReplyDeleteSometimes these 'nothing' days actually achieve more than you think, that is the beauty of blogging - a form of diary keeping that reminds you of what you accomplished.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that - a little sunshine and warmth would go a long way!
The planning for a trip is often just as exciting as being there!
ReplyDeleteExciting about your trip, you will be counting down until you leave, sounds like you have a nice landlord too.
ReplyDeleteI think planning the trip can be just as fun (OK, almost just as fun) as the trip itself! It sounds like a very productive day!
