I had the sad face when I tried to publish a comment so I just went back to the blog following list and returned to that blog. Occasionally I hit Publish and it just sits there saying "publishing"...copy the comment, out and back again , paste and it goes through ok. which it is doing right now 🙄...
Only it didn't....I'll be back again later!
I went to the local surgery yesterday..one of my fingers started being red and swollen at the tip on Friday morning. The pharmacy's advice of anti-inflammatory gel didn't work...and it was spreading.
No obvious damage, so I'm on antibiotic meds. Something I rarely take.
Meh!!!!
But on a positive , it is warmer and actually feels like Spring, the sun is shining (between showers , yesterday!) and the pelargoniums on the windowsill are flowering .
The one on the left is a quince grown from seed.

...be well.
ReplyDeleteI hope the antibiotics do the trick!
ReplyDeleteToes crossed the finger heals well. Sometimes antibiotics are a necessary evil.
ReplyDeleteLoe the idea of growing the quince from seeds. Brings back memories of my Nanu making quince jame from the buh in her yard, This is the same Nanu who would gently moe honeybees in her hand if they were in her way.
As a child, my brother was always getting infected cuts and scrapes on his hands, and the pediatrician prescribed soaking the injured area in very hot water, as hot as he could stand without burning himself. Maybe you could try that?
ReplyDeleteno. cuts or scrapes to be seen
DeleteI hope the infection clears up soon. It must make your creative craft work a little tricky.
ReplyDeleteTake care GZ.
ReplyDeleteSome days are off days to me. I think we all have them on occasion. Hopefully things will resolve quickly.
Glad you saw a doctor quickly. You don't want it to get worse! Hopes for quick healing!
ReplyDeleteBad news about the finger. I'm guessing that could make pottery difficult or, if on your dominant hand, lots of things. I hope the antibiotics kick in well.
ReplyDeleteI hope the dreaded antibiotics work quickly and well.
ReplyDeleteHope the antibiotics do the trick. One's fingers are so important to artists! Loved seeing the plants!
ReplyDeleteI put my pelargonium outside for some sun and it got sunburned. I should have just left it indoors! Do yours stay indoors all year?
ReplyDeleteYou know, my fingers, all 8 of them, have been causing discomfort for months now. My grandmother had rheumatoid arthritis and I worry sometimes if this how it all started
ReplyDeleteHope your finger gets better soon.
ReplyDeleteThat is odd, isn't it. No cut or scrape...maybe a metal shaving?
