Steady gardening has been the order of the day. Planting out 120 red onion sets (and protecting them from Jackdaws and cats!!
getting the last of the compost from the compost bin...I could have used twice as much.
I trimmed the shrubs in my front garden by my neighbour's wall. Gradually pulling everything together.
Her funeral is a week on Thursday. Hopefully one daughter will buy her siblings out.
Nothing much after that! Antibiotics aren't very good for one's Get up and Go.
It does feel like these are clearing my
sinuses. It may not be the reason for taking them, but they are at least helping in one direction!

ReplyDeleteI can relate to the sinuses. (Sinus surgery coming up on the 30th). They can do a number to your headaches, can't they? Well, all that planting looks like a good remedy (along with the antibiotics). I'm impressed. And your protection devices are brilliant!

ReplyDeleteThe onions are looking great and you'll be well supplied. Onions add a nice savory flavor to many dishes, soups and stews. I have both fresh and frozen chopped onions on hand at all times.

ReplyDeleteI grew red onions many moons ago - it was a good crop although we are a little too far north to enjoy the really cold weather required for greatness.
