throwing again

So far today I've put handles on all these and turned the berry bowls- they were still a little soft to put the holes in, but by this evening should be ready.

Unfortunately the doughnut shape didn't survive turning...but at least I know that I've got the weight of clay and thrown thickness right. For some reason this clay isn't keen on closing at the top- you throw a U section and close it off. Possibly I need to clean the throwing slip off the surfaces before closing. We'll see!
