The black and white lacy job is a Wyandotte, the cockerel a Plymouth Rock....I think!!
the swallows cleared off ages ago from down here. Guess we don't have enough midges for them. So a mixed blessing!

the variety of feathers is amazing! I do love photos of chickens.
Those midges are just lovely - look at all the character in their little faces!
Seems like 'nesting' is the theme du jour :-)xxx
