I was watching a bunch of British documentary type shows - the first one being "Tales from the Green Valley". Then I had to watch "Victorian Farm", "Edwardian Farm", "Wartime Farm" and most recently "Tudor Monastery Farm". In one of the series, they tried to work an old lime kiln. It was very cool. The kiln wasn't as pretty as this one, though. Have you seen those shows?

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have, Carol. Lime kilns were nasty, smelly, dangerous things!
ReplyDeleteI wonder when they will be converted into desirable homes with en-suite facilities?
ReplyDeleteYour posts are wonderful and have knowledge along with meaning in them, xoxo.
