Eglinton Park









The park itself is owned by the local council..the original house is long gone,but the shape of the gardens remains.

After a session on the velodrome in Glasgow, and before seeing friends in Loans, we had a walk around the park near Kilwinning.

    The statues lost their heads...haven't been able to find any history of this sculpture, but I think that "Ye maunna tramp on the Scotch Thristle,laddie" refers to treating the Scots with respect...
