We have done all the gardening and tidying we have time for.. pirate planted two rows of tatties that were waiting to be done....and Peppy the cat found a good place to lie. I'm not begrudging him that, he has just seen off a cat twice his size!!
The yellow plum tree is laden with fruit..but oddly the red Christmas plums are not yet ripe
There were fantails flying around the drive..but I wasn't quick enough to catch an image of them!!
We had a short ride this morning, just 28km..,too hot and windy to try hard! We arrived back by midday and the temperature kept on rising. Christchurch hit 31 I think..we were at 29!

ReplyDeleteWe could use some of those temperatures. Looks like it topped out at about 40 F. (4 C.) here today. But supposed to be quite a bit warmer tomorrow and maybe the blasted snow will melt.
