I've just worked out that at least one trip's worth of photos didn't get downloaded last September..and possibly two months more have been lost. Then the digital camera's brain went on strike...
Unfortunately that includes photos of a friend now having problems with depression. He is at present in a closed psychiatric ward. Old photos have been a help, so I'm compiling a photo album. Those lost were the only ones from 2018...

GRRRRR! Have you tried finding someone who specializes in retrieval?

I was going to suggest the same thing -- take the camera to an expert and maybe they can retrieve the data.
ReplyDeleteI've worked out that when I took it to a local expert I thought that I'd got everything off the sd card...but I hadn't...so thought it was safe to reformat the card and see if the memory still didn't work...so,my fault. Hey Ho!
