I love looking over old photos. Any old photos not necessarily of my family Seeing how the generations before lived their lives. They were hard and hardly anyone was well off. But people seemed to be happier. Maybe it’s rose coloured glasses.
Old family photos are great but if only they had written in pencil on the back who people were. I will never find out who the grumpy old boy with the big "tash" was in a photo of my grandparents and dad (he was about 4).
Hi, I've removed word verification...so if all goes well I'll leave it off..... Please leave a pebble in the pool ((o)) even if you don't want to comment, it is nice to see where you all come from! Thanks!

These are so interesting. The story of an era.
ReplyDeleteWhat great glimpses into the past!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos showing the old days.
ReplyDeleteI love old photos. A glimpse of people now long gone or changed with age.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful photographs. Unfortunately a lot that I have unearthed have not withstood the travails of time...
ReplyDeleteThose photos are real treasures. I hope they find a forever home and can be passed on for generations.
ReplyDeleteYou've gathered and saved some great photos! We each have a history, and it is nice to look back. The hope is future generations feel the same.
