This and that

A bitsa day..bits of this and that... housework, trying to keep the place clean and vaguely tidy...

Bread in the machine...five minutes then it takes care of itself!!

Power bill arrived... relief...I'm using just over £1.50 a day, including the daily standing charge.

Then finishing four "wee'uns" that I'd already thrown....

Teatime, and time to sort through and price some bike bits. I've set aside a couple of things to clean next.

Then sewing while watching Travels on Scottish History on YouTube ...while messaging youngest son and friend in France...multitasking indeed, helped by using the tablet for entertainment and the phone for messages!!

Why is it that important conversations arrive at the same time?!!!!

  1. Always busy. I have a loaf in the machine at present.

  2. My electric is £50 a month, so that's about £1.66 a day. Could be worse.

I see you are keeping busy. I need to crack on with the back of the quilt today AND carry on with the external painting.

  3. oh to have your power bill. I spent about £40 a month on power in UK (we had gas and a woodfire too) and my bills are $400 per month here (estimated, true, but still electricity is really expensive here. What isn't?)

    1. I'm not surprised that your bills are that high...with a cold wet winter!! Remember that I'm not using the heating at present...

  4. Love those wee'uns.
I must check our electricity usage. I keep forgetting to use the new app!

  5. Lovely small pots, each one is precisely formed. Nice work.
Your power bill is surprisingly low. My bill is 4-5 X higher.

  7. It makes me crazy when someone starts texting me while I'm watching a TV show. I just can't do two things at once!

  8. I like your pots, I bought a small pot from Maison du Monde, Paris as a souvenir (it hold 1 leaf!), yours are even better than this.

  9. The wavy-edged wee uns remind me of anemones!
And the playful dragons from the last post make me grin 😄
I am so happy you are creating pottery again!
