Ok....look at these in reverse please!! This has what has been happening most of today..I did take a break this afternoon and restrimmed the rough grass. Then used the push mower and edger...we are over 5⁰ so the grass is still growing!!!!!
Hi, I've removed word verification...so if all goes well I'll leave it off..... Please leave a pebble in the pool ((o)) even if you don't want to comment, it is nice to see where you all come from! Thanks!
Scottish grass must be made of sterner stuff than ours. We have never had to mow in those temperatures! Do you add sugar to your juice?
ReplyDeleteNo, no sugar needed..in fact I've added some sharper apples to tone down the sweetness.
DeleteIf it is over 5⁰C ....grass still grows! (So long as it has moisture as well)
Fresh apple juice must be delicious. I've only had store bought.
ReplyDeleteWill you use the pulp for something else?
It is lovely and processing doesn't change it too much...and it keeps well so long as the seal is good
DeleteI love that press - where did you get that?
ReplyDeleteIt is made by Vigo, but there are other makes
DeleteMmm, it's apple season here too. May have to purchase a bottle of fresh juice...so glad you can press your own!
ReplyDeleteI used to juice apples a lot - I would core them, and then put a bit of juice back into the pulp to make an apple bread that was quite delicious.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of work but it apparently makes a sizable quantity of juice.
ReplyDeleteCold pressed - it's worth it - it's the best of the best.
