Scottish grass must be made of sterner stuff than ours. We have never had to mow in those temperatures! Do you add sugar to your juice?
Fresh apple juice must be delicious. I've only had store bought.
Will you use the pulp for something else?
I love that press - where did you get that?
It is made by Vigo, but there are other makes
It is lovely and processing doesn't change it too much...and it keeps well so long as the seal is good
No, no sugar needed..in fact I've added some sharper apples to tone down the sweetness.
If it is over 5⁰C ....grass still grows! (So long as it has moisture as well)
Mmm, it's apple season here too. May have to purchase a bottle of fresh juice...so glad you can press your own!
I used to juice apples a lot - I would core them, and then put a bit of juice back into the pulp to make an apple bread that was quite delicious.
Looks like a lot of work but it apparently makes a sizable quantity of juice.
Cold pressed - it's worth it - it's the best of the best.
