Its back!!

I had a day in Ayr today, finding a new café which is also a coffee roastery...Rocket Monkey!! Recontacting a small shop/gallery, ordering a new book!!!!

Wandered through a shopping mall...

And French conversation group in the library in the afternoon...

I couldn't miss that shot of the blinds...or the window above the stairs....

It is one of the Carnegie library buildings so should be safe from closure.

Then home to ....the car!!!!

I picked the key up from my neighbour over the road and had a good natter....it is one of her grandsons who mended the car.

I'll go down to his garage on Monday to pay...no way am I going to Ayr tomorrow as the Ayr Air Show is on this weekend!!!

Wonderful photo of the blinds. A good photographer is a person with a camera who has a great eye for noticing things others miss. And Ayr Air Show made me laugh.

That's a beautiful window. Glad to hear it's in a listed building so won't be going anywhere soon.

Io visited someone living off-grid today and noticed custom made stained glass windows in a small cabin adjacent to the house. Gorgeous wee gingerbread house. Look round the back he said. Nooo - it's a container. Well its very cute on 3 sides (and roof). Anyway - stained glass - it can be grand or 'gingerbread' but it always adds something special.

Love the window and the blinds.
I’m not one for crowds so I’d definitely stay home too

I like the sculpture of the book reader and his dog.

Did you ever read the George the Cyclist blog? He cycled all over the world and in the US his passion was to visit as many Carnegie libraries as possible. I don't know if he made it to your part of Scotland and this one, but seeing that made me smile with sweet memories.

Avoiding crowds is always a priority for me too.
The stained-glass window is lovely.
Great to have your car back. More options for transport are always good. .
