The grass needs to dry out then I can cut it again, hopefully with the push mower in most places.
A bits and bobs day again.
I started dismantling a handlebar, brakes, shifters and gears set...that had been left absolutely filthy!! That was a serious cleaning job!
The view at 8pm....I'm feeling tired earlier too!!
WOW to that grass. I look forward to the day we can strim like that and not bend the blades on partly (or largely) submerged rocks. (Still on blades here, even the toughest string with teeth on it won't touch the bracken stems let alone gorse and blackberry). I know what you mean about sleep coming on earlier as the nights draw in. Dramatic sunset however.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think you have to forget strimmer and plastic string... isn't the heavy grade one called a bushwhacker?
DeleteYou manage to always find something that needs doing. It has been so dry here that there has been no need at all for mowing. Rain this week though!
ReplyDeleteWow it looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteYour days are growing shorter and ours longer. I just hope the weather heats up and we can start to enjoy being outside again
Fresca here.
ReplyDeleteThose tools look so fun to use! I never have, so I’m a little envious. Reminds me of the satisfaction of power (water) hosing.
Your garden looks neat and tidy with everything trimmed up. It looks fantastic. I use a trimmer too.
ReplyDeleteit saves alot of time that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteWell it's better than wielding a scythe, I presume.
ReplyDeleteI do have one...but SiL has it...and they have more grass around their garden and orchard
DeleteWe just bought a new trimmer too. Pricey, but well worth it.
ReplyDeleteThis was only £29..I would have preferred a cordless...but at £117.....
