I gave the wall a second coat of paint this morning....you can go off the idea of wall paper with a raised pattern!! What had appeared to be completely covered yesterday... wasn't!!
It was still wet cold and windy when I took the bus into town...and the bus was late !!
This is my fortnightly treat...lunch in Waterstones bookshop café before French conversation in the library.
It is a lively group and I'm gradually using more and more French. We discuss all sorts of things! We have been working through the lyrics of a song "Aux Champs Elysées"...and discussing about the words used, what they mean, how they are used, which ones are a little archaic but fit the poetry of the song....
I could do with more discussion....and more French!!
Home again, I moved my 2012 quilted patchwork hanging that I made while travelling in NZ....I think that it looks good against the new colour!

I like the color! Rich, vibrant, warm, cheerful. I like the hanging too, and it really shows nicely against the paint.
ReplyDeleteFrench song lyrics are a fun way to practice the language!

ReplyDeleteI agree .. that patchwork hanging looks great against that colour!
ReplyDeleteThe yellow wall is looking great and the dark color of the wall hanging displays well against the yellow. Nice contrast.
