Through the front door on its back....up end and turn..walk it through the living room door...walk it to its place set down and....
Voilà!!!!
The covers need replacing....but it looks like the bed part has never been used.... so worth every penny.
My helper went away happily holding a jar of homemade chutney...made with the plums of another member of the cycling club!!
It has been a beautiful..but cold..day....and the primulas and primroses are still flowering. Last January's -10⁰C hardly checked them...and they haven't stopped....

Good time for a driver with short legs!
ReplyDeleteIt was a tight fit but worth all the effort.
ReplyDeleteLove the color.
I love the color! But if you have to change the covers, I assume it will be a different color. Anyway, well done on packing it into the car!
ReplyDeleteI like the colour too. Daughter has suggested looking for heavy old curtains in charity shops for material.
DeleteFirst step work out a pattern and how much fabric is needed
Good job on getting that in the car, and then into the house.
ReplyDeleteBy gosh you did it! Looks great in the room.
ReplyDeleteA tight squeeze but well done!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely, very practical and plenty of life in it! I would get some sheepskins to throw over it - they are cosy.
ReplyDeleteI'd love that...with others to use when family and friends who are vegan pay visits
DeleteThat looks like a good solid sofa and should make into a very useful extra bed. Well done you.
ReplyDeleteOkay. I do love the color, but I am intrigued by the carpet in front of it! Stay warm and safe. I hear you are expecting quite a winter storm there this evening.
ReplyDeleteThe couch actually looks like it's in a decent condition, good find.
