Waiting for the post....that came
Waiting for someone to pick up an old printer...said he wanted it, didn't say when...
But I did get some things done...finished and processed the cordial.
The fruit press didn't get as much juice out as I'd hoped..the pulp was still a bit wet...and if course full of seeds.
I've mixed in a bottle of home pressed apple juice...after it has all gone through the mouli legumes, I'll decide what to do with it ..fruit leather perhaps? Fruit spread? We'll see.

Nothing like food from your own trees and bushes.
pie filling; mixed with some stewed apples for bulk and sweetness.
or crumble...
Just yum...
Well done. I have to confess I am very idle on that front these days. I have a dehumidifier too, so no excuse if I wanted to dry fruits. Never tried making fruit leather though. Just used to do jam, chutney, wine, back in the day.
Beautiful cordial!
((o))
That's very pretty.
Now that would get me back into baking!!
It is a lovely colour....more red than you'd expect
Beautiful cordial.
You've got lots of options with the fruit.
The cordial is the darkest I've ever seen. Well done.
Thanks for stopping by the blog! These are not cultivated SunFlowers but volunteers i get in the yard every year... everyone here considers them weeds..lol Hugs! deb
That's going to be nice juice over Autumn and Winter.
You will definitely get lots of vitamins during the winter with all that
I get very cross with people who say they’ll be by to pick something up
And then don’t. I often ask for a firm day and time. That way I’m not stuck at home waiting for unreliable to arrive.
Well, it looks promising! I've never heard of "fruit leather" but I can imagine what it must be. Sort of like fruit roll-ups.
Fruit leather ??
I had to look up what a mouli legume was!
Generally sold as flat strips
Dried fruit paste
The delay on the Nextdoor website messaging system didn't help!
