Wash, rinse, repeat....

Which is what Storm Amy has been doing all day!!

Blawin a hoolie and chucking water all over the place!!

They are all attached, so I should still get seeds.

Packaging was successfully sorted yesterday, so I did have my own bed back!!

Today I carried on sorting...bike stuff in boxes back to the sewing ( crossed out) bike room...and as it had been organised for the bike jumble it took less room and I could shift the rest of it from the living room...and make that a room for living!!

The radiators are less cluttered so that the heat reaches the room...but all surfaces are full...I ran out of steam on the job...that will be tackled tomorrow...it isn't forecast so windy, but will still be wet!!

I washed Pirate's work jackets, overalls and blizzard suit...padded overalls..they will be handy if we get really cold weather,  and despite their age and amount of use, the work clothes that FedEx provided for him were good quality.

Then some video watching, of the world masters track championships from  the Stab Velodrome in Roubaix. Good to see friends from all over the world doing well.

I miss seeing them and helping, and the atmosphere. But I don't miss the stress of racing and training and not having time for other things!

  1. I read about your storm and am glad to see your post. No matter what is going on outside, we know that you are busily working on a project of one kind or another inside.inside.

  2. My goodness the damage to your garden. Rearranging sounds like it is being a mammoth task. I guess I'll understand when our 'effects' are finally dragged out of the storage at my brother's place.

  3. Fortunately, your garden withstood the storm.
Organizing and clearing out possessions is a big job. It makes a good rainy-day project. Time well spent.

  4. I'm sure you were getting walloped by Amy. We got enough wind for me all the way down here, probably nothing like yours!

  5. Yikes, you've been on a roll. That storm sounds terrible -- I'm sorry your garden was damaged. But boy, you've been so productive!

    1. I'm afraid she wasn't very good..there are thousands still without electric power, and the railways had 80 trees down across rails in Scotland

  7. That storm is really quite something! We dont get those kinds of storms here, just those hurricanes along the coast. Which can actually come pretty far inland and wreak havoc even here, hundreds of miles from the coast.
I saw a video of the winds at the Cliffs of Moher and it was incredible, the force of that wind!
