Getting on with it

Yesterday was glazing day...no photos..I forgot!!

I glazed, friend packed his kiln.....

Home again and card production started

Adding colours and writing today.

It is just after 8am.....the fog has lifted to mist and is just looking worth getting up!!

The positive thing about that is that the temperature hasn't dropped below freezing point here...up around Aberdeen it is close to that.

Time to finish dealing with apples and make room in the kitchen for clay storage and unfired work....

It definitely is..it is still dank and grey out there. The colour on the cards is nearly finished...and I'm trying to work out where a sneaky little draught is coming from...

Doesn't it feel good to load a kiln? Such potential! We have sun after days of a nor'easter with always needed rain. No frost yet, The morning glories are still blooming, but I am admitting that winter will come and have begun bringing plants in.

Making room in the kitchen for clay storage… you need a cavernous studio (or perhaps a series of small easy to heat studios and storage places (oh yeah that's called a house)). You are definitely living your art

You move from one craft to another so easily!

Will you get snow? There is nothing nicer than being inside all toasty warm while outside it’s cold. With or without snow. The older I get. The more I become a winter person

Jack of all trades ........
But they are all so fascinating!!

Not easily

Maybe, but not so often on the wet and windy west coast! We did get some snow last winter, but the worst was the ice. You can at least get out and walk in snow
