That's the last of this batch waiting to be done...gold and red on the tree, silver snow on the ground and Season's Greetings in gold!
Simple but special.
I took the cockerel picture from France to be framed in Ayr, and he did it while I had a wander around town. I'll photograph it tomorrow..he did a good job.
Ayr is in a sorry state...but so are many towns. Some bits are being restored though
But on the other side of the road...
And beside it...
The 1970s police hq being demolished.
For a few years the police have been in an old Victorian school building....a lovely brick built one, in good condition...says it all.....
Hopefully the council will build homes on the site...as although the building was transferred to Strathclyde police with the rejig of the counties in the 70s....the council quietly retained the land.....

I love your Christmas cards. Simple but elegantly beautiful
Love the cards
Roads more important than civic buildings 😒 It probably wouldn't still be a civic building but I bet the town centre could do with fewer cars.
You should see our roads 😢
Your cards are very beautiful, and I love the color combination you have chosen. Will you be selling them in your shop online?
It is a shame to see buildings in disrepair. Some buildings can be converted into shops on the first floor and housing/flats above, and I always appreciate this when it happens.
Losing that '70s police station doesn't seem like a negative!
Waiting for bro to sort the online selling...
Those cards sounds just elegant. What acgift they would be to those who receive them.
Lots of old buildings being torn down here too but I wonder how many of them were made with asbestos?
Cards are bold, fun!
