A day in which we do a lot of small things!
Washing...racked indoors just in case it rained..it didn't!
The water butt set-up was finished, plants watered, harvesting done . Then the tractor driven back up to the Lavoire to fill the two waterbutts on the trailer.
More tomatoes went through the Moulin à Legumes..and this afternoon were slowly reduced over a low flame.
Watched stage three of the T dL, and both of us falling asleep watching it despite the good racing!!
View from the race coverage camera in the helicopter.
Tonight we went to the football again!! A home game..

Ha ha, I may not understand the French, but I do enjoy the photos!
Snap with the cauli. I have just picked our first and will have some tomorrow.
Such a contented way of life.
My Romanescu cauliflower do the same. They never grow like the pictures
It doesn’t matter. They taste good anyway.
Your life in France sounds very pleasurable and filled with lots of goodness. Great people, pottery, lovely meals together, football, harvesting, keeping the garden well-watered, and much more. Enjoy.
You are making me miss my lack of home grown tomatoes......next year, grasshopper. Romanesque seed was always sold as a broccoli. On my definite list for next year.
I am so enjoying your vacance!
I am enjoying your French trip.
You really are having a diverse (and very local) holiday.
There is so much locally! And all the better to learn and relax
