A cool lemonade..homemade,  with ice and a slice of lime..and n almond pastry that is the speciality of the house..on a Chocolatierie just like those in Joanne Harris' books....

Then to sit by the river Vienne until lunch on the cool breeze by the river, under tall oaks

The Catholic church for the area, by the Pont Notre Dame

Then up the riverside road past ancient tanneries, to a café that is only open Friday and Saturday...and is in an old tannery..

Other buildings across the courtyard are Tu as gîtes.

After a good meal, home for a siesta, watering run then out to watch Friend's son play football..the local club is 80 years ols
