 Now a field centre...I think there are ten across the UK..I went to the one at Preston Montford near Shrewsbury in 1970 when doing A level Geology.

Friday's trip to Cumbrae

looking over the Clyde towards Arran ( on the bus). And then Lunch in Largs while I waited for the half hourly ferry..in Nardini's ...with waffles, Canadian Maple Syrup and their famous ice cream of course!....and proper Italian coffee!!

Onto the ferry 

Then by bus the three miles to Millport...and a walk back to the edge of Millport where the field centre is.....and the Scottish potters spring gathering

I've had a quite for the workshop stove parts..I need to find how much getting them here from the Isle of Wight will be....

Things are beginning to move....

However not much progress today, with -6⁰ in the wee small hours this morning and after a clear sunny day -2⁰ tonight...

A modicum of sorting was done plus vacuuming floors. That kept me warm for a bit!!

Off to an island tomorrow.....
