new tools inspiring!

 One wee howlet...a Morpork,perhaps?
and on to the next one, where I've paused...not sure how to do the hillside..I'm happy with the burn tumbling down.
Using this new tool is almost like drawing with a knife.

time out on the bike..and new tools on the way.

I thought that NZ friends would like those!
Also the breeder of these alpacas imported some breeding stock from NZ...
and it was worth the work getting up the hill, to see the view.
such a relief to get some sun and blue sky, even though the wind is still chilly.

The sun lights up the tulips...

I checked my account...and got brave...I have new tools on the way, a new small roller and a fine v cutter...and luckily one company has a few Pfeil tools on sale.
Pearwood handles...wonder if it is sapient ? ;-) ...made in Switzerland.

It has been a little frustrating trying to cut fine lines with what I have, on the new smaller blocks, and the different handles should be easier on my hands.

New print,Middle Road

The latest two prints are about to go on Etsy,  now to start work on the next one, especially as the rain and hail are beating down and the wind is roaring in the chimney, despite the draught excluder...

The tool on the left I bought in the recycling centre in Blenheim in New Zealand.
I've just sharpened it and it is so good in the hand.

I've done two pencil rubbings as I go, but now the next step is test printing.

Today's job,however, was marmalade!!
