Sunday morning wasn't very promising to start with!
However just after 10am it was fit to drive in, with care...and after 7 miles we left the fog!
By the time we arrived Irvine to watch the Harriers v Cyclists annual race it was cold, breezy and cloudy....
Cyclists won this year (the one in orange lost the sprint!)
Most of the runners didn't seem to make any sartorial concessions to the weather!
Then we had a walk on the beach and back behind the dunes.
We drove back most if the way home, and Pirate rode the last ten miles...
The mist was still lying in the Ayr River valley.. I took a photo just where you start going down into the valley at Stair..up the hill on the other side of the River you were back in bright sunshine!!
I arrived home and had enough time to make soup before he arrived...just!
