Old posts

Has anyone had old posts turning up in their reading list?

From anything up to ten years old, quite random from half a dozen different bloggers..mostly ones who have stopped, but not all.

If I miss one of your latest posts, this will be the reason.

It is nice re-reading them....

Blogger comment problem

I can't leave comments on some blogs...Cro and Kamo Lady to start with.

Something to do with the Captcha system not loading properly.

However I have commented on Boxes and Bellows, Weave's blog and Steve's blog with no problems.

For a while I have sometimes had to hit Publish a couple of times for it to work..but I think that is my tablet and/or internet!!

So I am still reading you all..keep writing!!!

Blogging comments

 One for Steve...and possibly others...

Thanks for the comment regarding sawflies...I will research that..

However the comment seemed to have gone through onto the comments without me seeing it....it was on the Comments list..at the same time it was in Spam comments....So I deleted the spam.... but both disappeared!!

Reading list

My reading list isn't loading....could be just that the world and his wife is using tinternet and we are near the end of the line....or it could be Blogger's problem

So I can't read or comment for now..

Sum Dood

I read this morning on face book that one of our fellow bloggers (although not for a while) died in his sleep on 8 October.

Miles Newman, aka Sum Dood.  I will miss your comments and conversation, your photos on Flickr, your links on fb to good music.

We never met, but we should have. So near.. that's life.

next blog

Blogger, I miss the "next blog" button!!

I've found so many blogging friends by having a wander through blogland...

At least we can have a browse via other bloggers' reading lists....

next blog...

I miss it...I found many blogging friends that way, wandering around the blogosphere....

Steve

Hello fellow potter, commenting on the saviac wheel post..it would be good to get in contact and talk wheels!!

day out, but not day off

We started today slowly...gently does it for the Pirate...another side effect of his treatment is feeling sad, and worse, depression...the counter-attack is enough work and enough bike.....

Today was work, and we found new roads for us to a nice wee village that neither of us had visited...to a house called Inglewood...where we had good coffee and nice cake...and tidied a lawn and woodland area.

Many thanks !!  It is good to meet a fellow blogger at last !

We had hoped that our other local job would continue today, but someone was fencing there today, so no lawn bed preparation.

Instead we had a relaxing lunch at The Mad Hatter in Castle Douglas, a town that we really love. Then a little light shopping, buying mitts and saying hello to Axle the Dog in Castle Douglas Bikes.

We had hoped to see other friends too, but they were busy...so on to Kircudbright down a pleasant and wiggly road.  At last I found a reasonably local shop to buy card ....Kircudbright Working Print Studio !!

Then home along more wiggly roads, both small and large, with much achieved.

A working day out...can't fault it!

annoying!

Blogger seems to behaving problems again, not showing the Reading List of the blogs we follow....seems to be an intermittent problem that has been rattling about for quite a while.
