Whanganui Christmas

The meal preparation was teamwork..the food was good, the company enjoyable.
Then in the evening we had a walk up to the Dublin Bridge crossed over the river and back to the City Bridge to cross back and head for home.  A good end to the day, capped by the Tui calling as the sun set.

Titirangi...Arataki



You will usually hear these. Not see them live!











 And this is why six out of seven bush trails are closed, and the shoe cleaning routine is in force, and you keep on the gravel paths....
Arataki is a beautiful place and a marvellous learning facility

Titirangi...Te Uru

In Titirangi there is a marvellous building full of art and ideas





























Just a few of the images I took of the building itself and three exhibitions presently there. My main aim was the Annual Portage Ceramics exhibition.
Then lunch in the Turkish restaurant next door....
